Join Rabbi Gabe for a 3-part course in which we will learn about Jewish mourning and burial practices. The series will be a combination of Jewish learning, discussion, speakers, and it will conclude with training in how to sit shmira. In Jewish tradition, shmira is the ritual of watching over and sitting with the body and soul of a deceased person before the funeral.
