Joe Pedott Student Assistance Fund
The Joe Pedott Student Assistance Fund supports Jewish students at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with financial needs who need immediate financial support to alleviate a short-term hardship such as: food insecurity, housing and utilities support, medical bills, educational materials (tuition not included).
Grants are limited and may not always be available. Applicants for this grant must therefore first determine if their needs can be met through an Emergency Loan, available from the University Of Illinois Office Of Student Financial Aid. Hillel’s staff may offer additional solutions and referrals.
This fund is geared towards Jewish students who are currently enrolled with the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and can provide proof and documentation for on-going financial need and/or an immediate financial need that cannot be covered by the student and their support network.
If you are in need of assistance or want to apply email one of the following staff members:
Erez Cohen: erez@illinihillel.org
Carly Froomkin: carly@illinihillel.org
