1ST NIGHT SEDERS -  Saturday Night, April 12

Quickie Seder | 8:30 p.m. | Hillel

Want to celebrate Passover but have classes and exams to worry about? Join us for an hour-long seder with all the fun traditions just without the length. Led by Carly.

Illini Interactive Seder | 8:00 p.m. | Hillel

Looking for a seder with a creative and interactive twist? The Illini Interactive Seder is anything but bland. Engaging? You bet. Grape juice and wine? It’s tradition! We will bring the Passover story to life through an English reading of a progressive Haggadah with plenty of interactive activities and lively discussion. The seder will include Hebrew prayers and will be conducted in English with English commentary. Transliteration and translation will be provided. Singing will be
encouraged. Led by Rabbi Heather Paul.

Traditional Seder | 8:30 p.m. | Hillel

Seeking out a traditional seder which may look similar to what you saw growing up? The student-led Traditional Seder will take you through the entire Haggadah from start to finish. Gather around with your friends and community members to sing, tell stories, eat, and then eat some more. This seder will most likely use the Artscroll Haggadah.

Home-style JET Seder | 8:30 p.m. | JET House

Missing home for the holidays? Join Rabbi Shmuel and Jackie at the JET house for a home-style meal with friends.
*This Seder will be capped at 15 people. Please email Jackie (jackie@illinihillel.org) to register.
